Kim Lincoln founded the school Terrain of Essence Teachings in 2007 at the request of clients eager to learn what it is that she practiced. With interest the school grew to include a full Practitioner Training program. Terrain of Essence offers embodied consciousness practice and teaching to evolve the soul. Kim's path has involved 50 years of spiritual practices, psycho-spiritual training, energy-work, bodywork and trauma training that formally began in 1971. In the early 90's she came to realize the need of trauma skills in addressing one's spirituality. Kim wrote about this concern in her first book, Holy Here Wholy You, and has presented this knowledge publicly from 2013 onward as a guest presenter at the Maui Sufi camp, the Trauma and Dissociation Conferences in Seattle, and at the SAND Science and Non-duality Conference in San Jose as a poster session highlighting what has become The Journey course, bridging ancient spirituality and cutting edge science. Kim's transformational courses open the way for experiencing a genuine quality of life to live as an essential human being. The school offers a full curriculum for those wanting to enhance their self-growth, to become a practitioner of this work or to augment these principles in their own teaching. www.kimlincoln.com firstname.lastname@example.org
Susan C. Davis Teacher/ Practitioner
Recently retired from the mental health field, Susan is excited to continue her service as a student teacher and practitioner of the Terrain of Essence teachings. She continues to train in the school deepening her relationship of 6 plus years with this ancient Sufi wisdom. A Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University was acquired in 2006 as part of the Leadership Institute of Seattle program. Susan is also a Certified Sage-ing Leader. Currently co-facilitating a group and review class, Susan is honored to marry the rich teachings of the Terrain of Essence School with 68 years of life experience. Susan's style of sacred inquiry and presencing encourages each person to deeply connect with their own internal Guidance system, their own Soul. Building trust between our humanness and our Divinity may be the life-long relationship we all yearn to experience. Meeting what arises and allowing the inquiry process to unfold in its own timing supports healing and the receiving of sacred gifts from within. Cherishing the sanctity of life has taken on a new depth of understanding through the rigors of this tradition and the beauty it offers. Being introduced to "The Work" in early 2014 accelerated and advanced Susan's own healing journey in unforeseen ways, cementing an appreciation and love of this wisdom. This coalesced into her current path of service as a Sanctity of LIfe Doula. Susan's preference is to serve individual adults and groups. Brent Swift Practitioner
Brent is a licensed Acupuncturist yet works as a truly holistic practitioner. He is able to presence the deep essence of an individual, bear witness to how separation occurs and support them to rest back into wholeness. His adaptability allows the process to be shifting directions during the session and to continue to be met. The mystery can then unfold with the freshness that only “not knowing” can bring; this often comes with a playful spirit that fills the session room. He is willing to laugh, shout, tremble and cry with people as the unfolding occurs. The non-judgementalness held in the room makes space for perceptional shifts to occur. The space for this transformation is sacred to Brent and therefore held with deep integrity.
Brent's training stem from four primary categories: Acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Peruvian shamanism, Middle Eastern Terrain of Essence, and Western trauma work.
Feel free to schedule with Brent through his website to schedule your session by phone or in person. www.swiftawakening.com 808-205-9292
